Like most sports clubs, WATRC relies on volunteers for the running of events. If you're able to help at any time, your contribution will be appreciated.
Your committee is working on a draft ride calendar and hopes to publish it soon. We'll make it available as soon as possible so that you can plan your season.

AGM minutes, President's report, updated rules and more ...

The minutes from AGM are now available, along with the President's report and financial summary.
Four of five remits considered by AGM were passed and the WATRC Ride Rules have been updated accordingly. The remit relating to the Control Area Trot was lost and rule 1.8 (c) remains unchanged. All related documents can be found on our Resources page.

On the same page is information about the Graded Training Ride proposal that arose from discussion at AGM 2015. The proposed WATRC format differs from the UK Graded Endurance Ride on which it is based so as to co-exist with our CTR competition with minimal disruption. We're grateful to Karena Fellowes for her initial paper describing the UK GER. Her paper contributed considerably to the development of the WATRC proposal.

For comparison, we've re-published the 2015/16 CTR results with Graded Training Ride results appended, also showing how these results differ from the UK's Graded Endurance Ride. You can find the re-published results under the "GTR results" link beside each of our previously published ride results on the Results page. These are followed by the season GTR points totals for each combination of rider and horse.

A number of committee members stepped down at the end of the season, and a number of members have agreed to serve along with our returning members. Please give your committee your support as they guide our club through the next season of rides. Our new committee will develop and release the 2016-17 ride calendar in due course.
